Brauhaus Schmitz will completely transform the historic stone armory at 22 South 23rd Street—just a five-minute walk from 30th Street Station—into a genuine 16,000-square-foot Munich festival hall. Draped in miles of Bavarian blue-and-white fabric and furnished with authentic festival tables and benches imported directly from Germany, the venue recreates the atmosphere of the Munich Wies'n for 4,000 attendees across three distinct sessions:
- Friday Evening: 7:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- Saturday Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday Evening: 7:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Guests can raise one-liter Maß glasses filled with authentic Hofbräuhaus München lager while enjoying traditional fare prepared by Brauhaus Schmitz, including whole-roasted pig, rotisserie chicken, bratwurst, and thousands of fresh pretzels. Entertainment will feature lofted stage performances by Die Heimatklänge on Friday and Saturday afternoon, The Bratwurst Boys on Saturday night, and German folk dance showcases by the United German Hungarians.
The event is strictly 21+. General admission starts at $35 on Friday night ($45 for Saturday day, $40 for Saturday night) and includes entry and a first drink. VIP tickets range from $75 to $85 and include early admission, reserved seating, table service, two liters of beer, a Bavarian food platter, and private restroom access. Tickets are on sale now via the Brauhaus Schmitz website.
