La Fête Normande is the latest in an ongoing French-themed culinary series at Philadelphia’s pioneering French bar and restaurant, revered for constructing French-inspired cuisine with a modern twist. The French AF Series allows Kearse and his team to experiment with a wide variety of classic French ingredients, techniques, and regions such as Normandy while offering food enthusiasts a one-of-a-kind, exclusive dining experience available for one night only. Those in attendance at La Fête Normande can expect classic contributions from Normandy cuisine, including the four Cs: Calvados, cider, Camembert, and crème.

“We’re pumped for this installment of The French AF Series as we’ve been looking forward to providing our takes on the popular Normandy gastronomy for quite some time,” said Kearse. “La Fête Normande allows us to present our guests with a truly unique dinner they might not be able to experience outside of France.”

Guests partaking in this exclusive tasting dinner can opt for wine pairings hand-picked by Ken Schindler of Vintage Imports for an additional $65/per person. Schindler will be on-site for the duration of the evening to guide attendees through each wine, course by course.

Forsythia’s La Fête Normande event is $90/person plus tax and tip. Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made by clicking here. Those interested in attending upcoming The French AF Series dinners can mark their calendars for Wednesday, December 14, for La Fête des Abats, a prix fixe dinner focused on highlighting offal. Details will be provided in the weeks ahead.
