Royal Boucherie Rejuvenated Brunch Menu

PHILADELPHIA - Royal Boucherie, Old City’s lively and atmospheric neighborhood bistro, has recently expanded operations to include dinner on Monday, solidifying service available seven days per week, and weekend brunch extending to incorporate Saturday service. With the expansion of hours comes a rejuvenated weekend brunch menu and expertly curated new happy hour offerings, showcased Monday through Friday from 4 - 6 pm.

Fans of the Old City locale can now enjoy a delightful meal, happy hour, or post-work cocktail on Monday evenings in addition to standard dinner service offered Tuesday through Sunday starting promptly at 4 pm. A newly refreshed happy hour boasts a selection of draft beer ($5), house wines ($6), and specialty cocktails ($10), including Classic Negroni, French 52, and Royal Fashioned, in addition to a spate of seasonal, freshly minted fare including: 
  • Oxtail Poutine ($13): Braised oxtail, bleu, pearl onion, red wine sauce 
  • Moules Frites ($12): PEI mussels, smoked tomato, white wine, garlic-parsley butter 
  • Croque Madame ($12): Brioche, jambon de bayonne, mornay, sunny side egg 
  • Smoked Trout Rillette ($12): Crispy capers, toasted brioche 
Royal Boucherie offers a newly-revamped weekend brunch menu for the brunch enthusiast, now available Saturday and Sunday from 10 am - 3 pm. Staple dishes include the crowd-pleasing Charcuterie ($22), composed of house-cured meats, served alongside pickled vegetables and mustards, Plateaus de Fruits de Mer ($80/$150), and Boucherie Burger ($18) prepared with bone marrow, watercress, and gruyère, served with frites. A variety of hyper-fresh, locally-sourced selections from the thoughtfully refurbished menu includes: 
  • Chicken Liver Mousse ($13): Mustard seed, pickles, baguette
  • Ratatouille Tian ($12): Summer vegetables, anchovy, Parmesan, Maldon 
  • Steak Tartare ($20): Quail egg, pickled shallot, crispy capers, tarragon aioli 
  • Escargot ($18): Garlic parsley butter, Pernod
  • Crème Brûlée French Toast ($16): Stuffed brioche, berries, berry jam, maple
  • Savory Waffle ($14): Smoked salmon, crème fraîche, roe 
  • Croque Madame ($15): Fried egg, French ham, béchamel, greens
Royal Boucherie’s current hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 4 - 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 4 - 11 pm, and Sunday 4 - 9 pm, with weekend brunch, served Saturday and Sunday from 10 am - 3 pm.
