Courses & Corsets: Drag High Tea at Assembly Rooftop Lounge

PHILADELPIHA - Assembly Rooftop Lounge, the swanky ninth-floor year-round cocktail bar, and lounge overlooking the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, is starting off the second season of Drag High Tea with a BANG on Sunday, April 23 from 10 am to 2 pm. The afternoon tea service, dubbed Courses and Corsets, will feature an all-star cast led by RuPaul’s Drag Race Legend Pandora Boxx and some local favorites, plus a four-course Philly-Centric brunch, themed cocktails, and more!

Pandora Boxx will be traveling to Philadelphia for this PHABULOUS four-hour event hosted by the Geriatric Gem herself, Ms. Dominique Lee along with Philly Drag Stars Heaveans 2 Betsy, Rosey Hart, and Mandy Mango, and our very own Ms. Gay Philadelphia 2023: Morgan Morgan Morgan. Upon arrival, partygoers can spill the tea over a complimentary drink and Pretzel Baguettes with Yard's Pale Ale Fondue before being treated to a Philly-centric four-course meal by Executive Chef Sonny Ingui, including:  

 

• Cheesesteak Soup Dumplings
• Federal Donuts glazed donut cheese slider
• Black cherry/cilantro flavored Wooder Ice for a quick palate cleanser
• A dessert quartet finishes the meal: Peanut Chew Root-beer Float, Lemon-Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake, Ricotta Zeppole, and Strawberry Chocolate Whoopie Pie.

 

Those feeling extra slay can purchase tickets for $100 each on Tock (must be 21+ with valid ID to enter). The event will be moved to an indoor space at The Logan Hotel in inclement weather. All ticket holders will be notified. Valet parking will be available through The Logan Hotel.
