Industry Night Chef Christopher Kearse’s Monthly Series 2023

PHILADELPHIA – Forsythia, Chef Christopher Kearse’s contemporary French restaurant and bar in Old City, is extending its popular Industry Night Series well into 2023 with a line-up of exciting food and beverage collaborations with local restaurants and bars, beginning with an Oloroso takeover on Monday, November 28 from 7 – 11 pm. Held the final Monday of each month, Forsythia welcomes restaurant industry pros to unwind with discounted beverages, complimentary bites, and a rotating selection of fun-filled elements such as DJs, karaoke, films on the projector, demos, and much more.

For the upcoming installment of Forsythia’s Industry Night Series on Monday, November 28, Philadelphia’s premier Spanish-influenced restaurant and bar Oloroso will handle the food and beverage element of the evening. Executive Chef Jason Peabody will present a menu of complimentary Spanish tapas. At the same time, guest bartender Bohdan Darway will mix up an array of spirited cocktails in addition to local brews and Spanish wines for imbibers to sip on. 

In the past, Industry Night participants have included Fergie’s Pub, Southwark Restaurant, Cry Baby Pasta, Bridget Foy’s, Liberty Kitchen, Glory Beer Bar & Kitchen, and more, with demonstrations from Philly Cheese School and Steel & Stone. Looking ahead, Forsythia is keeping the series going with an impressive mix of locales, including: 

“It’s been such a blast collaborating with our restaurant friends and folks in the industry we admire and have always wanted to work with,” said Rory Wright, General Manager of Forsythia. “This Industry Night Series is an opportunity for people to enjoy a night on the town (on a Monday) while getting to mix and mingle with their co-workers and friends, while enjoying great food and cocktails.”  

Forsythia’s Industry Night Series is open to the public and free to attend, with complimentary bites and pay-as-you-go libations. Walk ins are welcome.
