This year's Philadelphia Flower Show will be bigger than ever and held from June 11 through June 19, 2022. Visitors will have the chance to experience the healing power of plants and nature.
For the second time in its 200-year history, the Philadelphia Flower Show will be held outdoors in FDR Park, a registered historic district originally designed by the Olmstead Brothers, the sons of the famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead. Designed by the Olmsted Brothers, the park was also the 1926 Sesquicentennial United States Exposition site. Taking advantage of its historical significance, the flower show will be more accessible than ever, thanks to its location and public transportation.
The 2022 Philadelphia Flower Show will feature accessibility accommodations for people with disabilities. Although the event is rain or shine, severe weather may cause it to be canceled. Ticket holders will be given a chance to attend a different Show day on another date. PHS encourages guests to seek shade during hot days, which is available from many large trees in FDR Park.
