New Igloos Debut at Figo and Princess Brunches Return

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Get ready to get frozen again in Northern Liberties! Glu Hospitality is proud to present a brand-new Igloo experience never before seen in Philadelphia. This continues and elevates the pivots and partnerships from the early pandemic and takes them to a new level.

New Igloos Debut at Figo and Princess Brunches Return

Starting today, the Igloos at Figo Ristorante will debut on N. 2nd Street, as the first thing you see when you drive/walk from Girard towards Northern Liberties Restaurant Row.

The new Igloos are unlike anything ever seen or experienced in Philadelphia, with:
* All clear domes made up of sustainable and recycled panels
* They take over 10 hours to assemble
* There are four launching this week, with three more next week
* Each seat up to eight people, and comes with decor and tabletop fire pits
* They hold off the winter wind and cold, with the best dining under the views of the stars
* They are just feet away from the 16 foot Christmas Tree outside Figo
* The Igloos will remain up and operating well into the winter months of 2022

Along with the Igloos, Figo also brings back Glu's major princess pivot. Last year, Glu partnered with A Dash of Magic Events for FOUR months of SOLD OUT weekend Igloo-distanced brunches featuring Northern Liberties small business owner, and forever princess Aisha Maria Loeks. Enchanted in Northern Liberties: Princess Brunches at the Igloos at Figo start this weekend and run through at least the drop of the ball on New Year's Eve.

Finally, Glu also debuts the new outdoor holiday and winter-covered cocktail garden - with an entirely enclosed patio, bar, and outdoor-indoor heated dining room to the South of the main restaurant - next to the water tower and the Piazza. The new winterized dining room is filled with twinkling lights, beautiful cascading flowers, seating for up to 50, and ornate fire towers and pits.

All of this takes place in full view with the first-ever Northern Liberties Christmas Tree in the background just a few short feet away - for one of the single most festive Christmas views in the city with the Christmas tree, the decorations, and the Igloos. Glu Hospitality purchased and donated the tree as a thank you to the neighborhood - and it was lit on Tuesday with hundreds in attendance.
