The Darby, Pennsylvania borough is located about five miles southwest of Center City, Philadelphia. Quaker families settled in the city in 1682. It was incorporated as a borough on May 3, 1853. The town's oldest cemetery is the Darby Friends Burial Ground, which is one of the oldest cemetery in Pennsylvania still in use. Darby has a population of approximately 10,702 and an area of 0.8 square miles.
