A hidden gem in Philadelphia, the Memorial Park of James G. Kaskey is a botanical and ecological oasis. Located on the University of Pennsylvania's territory, the park is not a popular tourist destination. While the park isn't the perfect getaway, it is worth visiting. The park contains many koi, turtles, and a waterfall that soothes the mind.

Located between University Avenue and 34th Street, Blockley Farm is a historic site. In 1829, the City of Philadelphia purchased 187 acres of land from the Hamilton family for $275 per acre. The park became an institution for the poor and was used for various activities during this time.
